Halogen-free flame retardant foam
Until now, most flame-retardant flexible urethane foams have been made flame-retardant by using halogenated phosphate esters or vinyl chloride in combination with antimony.
In recent green procurement-related activities, vinyl chloride and antimony have been highlighted as environmentally hazardous substances, and there is a growing movement to avoid using materials containing these substances.
In response to this trend, we have developed a flame-retardant technology that does not use vinyl chloride or antimony, nor any of the halides that are expected to be banned in the future as environmentally hazardous substances.
Main Features
- It does not use any environmentally hazardous substances such as vinyl chloride or halides, and is UL94 HF-1 compliant, achieving high flame retardancy.
- It is compatible with the green procurement of various companies, including those in the light electrical appliance and automobile industries.
Physical properties
* Regarding flame retardancy
- There are thickness compliance ranges for each item of MVSS, automotive material flame testing, and UL. Please contact us individually for details on thickness.
- Although our products have passed the automotive material combustion test standards at specific institutions, we do not guarantee their performance.
