1.5 times more efficient production! Thailand base achieves transformation into an "autonomous organization"
ACT, a Thai base, has thoroughly improved the "quality" of its manufacturing processes, achieving a 1.5-fold increase in production efficiency. The driving force behind this was management that listened to the "voices" of the workers on the shop floor, rather than simply issuing orders, and a change in mindset that led to operators proposing improvements themselves. We interviewed them to find out what went behind the scenes of this organizational transformation, which saw a shift from "work that was forced upon them" to "work that was their own responsibility."
