People[2026 New Employee Welcome Ceremony Report] Archem Way of Welcome Ceremony: Supporting a New Step Forward
On April 1, 2026, Archem Business Japan (hereinafter referred to as ACBJ) held an induction ceremony to welcome new employees who will shape the future.

As a "manufacturing company" responsible for domestic production, ACBJ's Nabari Plant implements an induction ceremony program that encapsulates our "pride in manufacturing" and "culture of welcoming colleagues."
Two new members have joined our team, marking the first time in five years that we've hired new graduates. For our manufacturing site, where the transfer of technical skills is key, the arrival of these two fresh faces is a significant event that foreshadows a bright future for the Nabari Plant.
This time, we'll report on what happened at the Nabari factory on that day, when a breath of fresh air blew through.
| "Gratitude" and "Expectations" presented by the president
The ceremony began with a message from Ryota Nagasaka, President and CEO of ACBJ.
The first thing they said was a heartfelt "thank you" for choosing Archem from among many companies and joining the company. Then they expressed their enthusiastic expectations for the new employees to become "colleagues" who will support the manufacturing site together.

The message conveyed the fundamentals of being a working professional, essential for embarking on a professional career. These included "greeting others in a loud voice" and "not keeping things you don't understand to yourself, but actively asking questions of those around you."
It may seem simple at first glance, but it's the most important fundamental for us, who create things as a team. The two new employees looked nervous throughout, but I was impressed by the serious look in their eyes as they tried to take each word to heart.

Next came the declarations of commitment from the new employees. As they spoke about their roots and "why they wanted to work here," it was a refreshing moment that reminded the other employees present of their own initial aspirations.
The new employees shared powerful comments expressing their genuine passion for manufacturing and their commitment to contributing to the organization.

"I love cars, and I came to Japan from Sri Lanka. While studying, I realized that seats are one of the most important parts of a car, and I wanted to become a professional in this field."

"I want to acquire knowledge step by step, starting with memorizing the names of all my colleagues. I want to quickly become a part of your team and contribute to the company."
| The thoughts behind the "Archem hat" handed out by the supervisor
Next is the "issuance ceremony," where each new employee receives Archem cap, which they will wear while on duty, directly from their respective department heads.
The caps handed out by their supervisors are not merely equipment, but a symbol of trust in "colleagues who work together to protect the workplace." Receiving this weight of responsibility was a sobering moment for the new employees, making them truly feel that they had become part of Archem Group.

Lunchtime naturally brings people closer together.

Instead of ending with a solemn ceremony, we bridge the emotional distance by gathering around the same table for a warm and friendly get-together. It is through these kinds of conversations that we create an ACBJ culture where people can easily consult with each other about things they don't understand.

The fresh enthusiasm and passion of our new employees has been a great source of inspiration for us existing employees, giving us a renewed sense of purpose. With this new energy flowing through Archem Group, we aim to continue to be an organization that respects diverse individualities and grows together.
