PeopleThe thoughts we poured into our "recruitment website." The real behind-the-scenes story of the recruitment team leading up to the site's launch.
On June 1, 2026, Archem launched its first-ever recruitment website.

Have you checked out this website yet, which is full of vibrant photos and candid interviews with members working at Archem?
We've already received wonderful feedback from both inside and outside the company, such as "The warm personalities and company culture come through so clearly" and "It perfectly captures the charm of Archem!" However, there was a lot of trial and error and passionate effort involved in bringing this comprehensive website to completion.
"What kind of drama unfolded behind the scenes when the website was launched?"
In response to those questions, we interviewed the two recruiters directly! We delve into the challenges and journey leading up to the launch of the recruitment website, as well as their aspirations for the future.

Human Resources Strategy Promotion Division Manager, Human Resources Strategy Promotion Division Recruitment Staff
Kaoruko Kanamori, Rina Takahashi
Behind the scenes of the website launch
Q1. Our recruitment website opened on June 1st. First, could you tell us what prompted you to launch the site?
Kanamori: Archem will soon be celebrating its fourth anniversary since its establishment. Up until now, as a newly formed company, we have focused on "immediate hiring" of experienced professionals. However, we are now entering the stage of formulating Archem 's medium- to long-term human resource strategy, and since last year, we have been accelerating our efforts to finally "hire new graduates."
The recruitment website, which launched in June, is one project that perfectly symbolizes this movement. Thanks to the cooperation of all our employees, we feel that we have created a comprehensive site that captures the "real picture of our company," something we haven't been able to adequately communicate until now.

Q2. Since you were building the recruitment website from scratch, I imagine there were many challenges during the production process?
Takahashi: To be honest, it was a lot more trial and error than I had imagined. Not only was the design direction unclear, but we also didn't have enough materials; it was truly a "start from scratch."
In the midst of all this, the cooperation of everyone in the company was absolutely essential for planning, writing, and taking photos for each piece of content. I felt hesitant to ask for everyone's help while they were all busy with their own work, but thanks to everyone's kind acceptance, we were able to successfully launch the website.
Behind the scenes, we had countless exchanges with the production company. I still vividly remember the emotion I felt when the actual release date arrived, after completing the project without compromising until the very end. Looking back, I think those were days when we, both within the company and with the production company involved, truly moved forward as "One Archem."
Q3. Your passion really comes through. When choosing photos and words for the website, was there anything you absolutely refused to compromise on?
Takahashi: It's about conveying the real "people" and "corporate culture" of Archem as they truly are.
One of Archem 's strengths and defining characteristics is that our "Five Values," which represent our core values, are deeply ingrained in our daily operations and the individuality of each employee, and are naturally embodied in our work. We wanted to convey this unique culture through this recruitment website.
Therefore, in the introductory texts, employee comments, and interviews on the site, while being mindful of overall consistency, we made a point of including the passion and stories of each employee involved in the business and their work, as close to their own words as possible. We hope that visitors to the site will find elements that match their own aspirations and feel a sense of connection.

Kanamori: As Takahashi said, we really put a lot of effort into figuring out how to put into words what we consider to be "realistic charm."
When you've been in the same organization for many years, there are actually many attractive aspects that tend to become commonplace and are easily overlooked. However, even within these commonplace aspects, there are surely significant insights and discoveries for people outside the company. While valuing this third-party perspective, we have refined our expressions to help you understand each person, their job, and ultimately the business.
As a result, I feel that we have created a website that truly reflects the current state of our company, showcasing Archem 's corporate culture and the personalities of its people. Nothing would make us happier than if the site could serve as a catalyst, encouraging job seekers and students who visit it to think, "I want to work here!"
Q5. The new website is full of thoughtful details, but what are some of the highlights that you two would particularly like people to pay attention to?
Kanamori-san & Takahashi-san: Archem is a chemical manufacturer that primarily deals with urethane. We put a lot of effort into our business and job descriptions so that you can get a hint of "what we create and how we create it" at our company. We would love for you to take a look.
For job seekers and students, "who you work with and in what environment" are crucial factors in building a long and successful career. Our recruitment website offers insights into the personalities of members from various departments through "employee interviews," "cross-talks," "project stories," and "career paths." We hope that you will not only learn about their work but also get a sense of their genuine personalities as you envision your future at Archem.

Q6. I heard that the site will continue to be updated.
Could you give us a sneak peek at some of the content that's planned to be added or enhanced in the future?
Kanamori and Takahashi: In the future, we want to share more widely the "real" and "true selves" of Archem employees, which are often not visible from the outside. In addition to further enriching the content we currently have available, we are planning to design a platform that will allow us to connect more directly with job seekers and students, starting with "people."
At Archem, we have a large number of fascinating employees with diverse backgrounds and expertise—far too many to describe here. Please look forward to future updates.
Furthermore, we have decided to hold an internship program this September where interns can gain hands-on work experience and tour our factory. We will be continuously releasing new content and event information, so please visit our recruitment website regularly to get the latest updates!

In the project to create Archem 's first official recruitment site for new graduates (to be launched on June 1, 2026), the recruitment manager who spearheaded the launch shared behind-the-scenes stories of the development and the thoughts and feelings behind it.
■Main points of the article
- Shifting to a Second Founding Phase: As we approach our fourth anniversary since the company's establishment, we have launched this website as a symbol of our shift from primarily hiring experienced professionals to a full-fledged recruitment of new graduates with a view to medium- to long-term talent development.
- A collaborative effort from scratch: Starting with no design or materials, all the busy in-house members willingly cooperated in photography and writing, embodying the spirit of "One Archem," to complete the project.
- A true embodiment of our values: In order to deliver our five core values—a set of behavioral guidelines that permeate the entire company—we thoroughly pursued the use of the "unadorned, genuine words (authentic voices)" of our employees themselves, rather than using beautifully embellished language.
- Visualizing Job Roles and Personalities: To help people intuitively understand the often-difficult-to-imagine work at a chemical manufacturer, we present a multifaceted portrayal of job content and the warm personalities of the people involved through employee interviews, cross-talks, career paths, and more.
- Internship in September: We view the website launch not as the goal, but as the starting point, and will strengthen the sharing of employees' real daily lives going forward. We have decided to implement an "internship" and "factory tour" in September 2026, where participants can experience the actual manufacturing site.
