Announcement of receiving the Cost Improvement Excellence Award from Yazaki Corporation
Archem Business Japan Ltd. (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo), a group company of Archem Inc., has received the 2022 Cost Improvement Excellence Award from Yazaki Corporation.
・About the project and the reasons for the award
Until now, the EPDM products that Yazaki Corporation purchases for vehicle parts have been monopolized by other companies, resulting in stagnation in cost reduction activities. In response to this situation, we conducted approval activities for our EPDM product "Everlight Moran®," and the product's quality and price competitiveness were recognized. As a result, we contributed to Yazaki Corporation achieving its cost targets for both existing products and new vehicle models, leading to this award. "Everlight Moran®" is scheduled to be used in both existing and new products in the future.
We will continue to strive to improve quality and set fair prices to meet our customers' expectations.
