At Archem, we offer a systematic training program tailored to each stage of your career, starting from the moment you join the company. From business fundamentals to specialized knowledge and management skills, we support continuous learning through training that matches each individual's stage of growth. We also have a comprehensive system of optional programs to support proactive learning. We respond to your desire to "keep learning" through internal and external training, support for obtaining qualifications, and support for attending academic conferences.

Archem 's training system is systematically structured to support employees at every stage of their career, from entry-level positions to management roles.
Five trainingcategories
Archem training system is comprised of five categories. Below, we will provide a detailed overview of the specific training programs within each category.
01. Training by Hierarchical Level
This training program helps you acquire essential skills that you should have at each stage of your career.
New employees to those in their third year of employment (development of basic to practical skills)
orientation
The training begins with lessons to deepen understanding of business etiquette, the company, and the business operations. You will learn basic business etiquette, as well as Archem 's history, business activities, and MVV (Mission, Vision, Values).
Factory training
Through practical training in the manufacturing plant, you will learn the fundamentals of manufacturing. By learning how products are made, you will deepen your understanding of them.
Pre-assignment training
Participants will be divided into development and management teams to experience the actual work of each job type, reflect on the entire training program, and prepare for their assignments. This will also be an opportunity to deepen bonds with their peers.
Logical Thinking Practical Training
This program teaches techniques for organizing thoughts logically (such as cause-and-effect diagrams and logic trees), and aims to instill awareness and habits of applying these techniques in daily work.
Fourth year after joining the company (development of specialized skills and management skills)
Pre-management training
As a future management candidate, you will understand the difference between a manager and a player, and develop your own leadership style through practical experience.
New manager training
Upon assuming a new managerial position, you will systematically learn the knowledge and skills necessary for management. You will also develop a perspective that allows you to oversee the entire organization.
Tenth year at the company (development of management skills)
360° Evaluation Survey
We will conduct a survey focusing on attitudes and job performance abilities related to leadership, aiming to help managers acquire higher management skills.
Factory Manager Training
As a factory manager, you will acquire a deep understanding of business figures and a manufacturing philosophy that contributes to business success.
Business Management School
This program is designed for executives and aims to help them establish the decision-making framework and personal vision required of business leaders, and to acquire the skills necessary to continuously think and act.
02. Training by Job Type
This training program is designed to enhance the expertise of each job category. After being assigned to a department, training will be conducted systematically according to the company-wide and department-specific training schedules.
Training for development professionals (basic urethane analysis, intellectual property, SQC, generative AI, etc.)
From the fundamentals of urethane and chemical analysis, which form the core of our business, to intellectual property, statistical quality control (SQC), and the latest applications of generative AI, you can systematically acquire the diverse specialized skills necessary to drive next-generation research and development.
Training for production technology professionals (product launch, quality control, cost control, etc.)
From the smooth launch of new products to thorough quality control and strategic cost management, you will develop the practical skills of a "manufacturing professional" who leads the optimization of the production system.
Training for sales planning positions
This training program aims to improve sales skills, proposal abilities, and customer negotiation skills. Participants will learn negotiation skills, presentation techniques, and other skills to hone their ability to build lasting trusting relationships with customers.
Corporate training
This training program deepens the specialized knowledge of management departments. Participants will acquire specialized knowledge in various fields, such as human resources systems, financial accounting, legal affairs, and information systems, to enable them to respond appropriately to the changing business environment.
03. OJT(On-the-Job Training)
This is an on-the-job training system where you learn through practical experience. You can steadily grow under the guidance of senior employees.
Acquisition of basic work skills
After being assigned to a position, you will systematically acquire the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary for your work. Your progress will be monitored regularly, and your development will be planned accordingly.
Workplace training
You will learn knowledge and skills directly related to your work within the workplace. Senior employees will act as instructors, providing practical guidance.
In-house study sessions/sharing sessions
There are opportunities to share know-how across departmental, divisional, and company boundaries. We aim to co-create value as part of Archem Group.
Mentoring system
New employees are assigned a senior employee from a different department as a mentor. This mentor can provide support not only with work-related questions but also with career advice.
04. Career-Specific Training
Specialists, management, and global talent. We provide training and support tailored to each individual's career path.
Specialized training
We offer training programs to deepen your expertise. We also provide support for participation in external seminars.
Conference participation support
The company will cover the costs of attending academic conferences and travel expenses. You can learn about the latest technological trends and deepen your expertise. Support for writing academic papers is also provided.
Industry-academia collaboration project
You will have the opportunity to participate in collaborative research with universities. You can deepen your expertise while being exposed to cutting-edge knowledge. We are currently working on an industry-academia collaboration project with Nagasaki University.
Language training
This training program aims to improve language skills used in business, such as English and Chinese. The company will subsidize the costs of learning English through online English conversation classes, language schools, etc.
Overseas Assignment Training
Before being assigned to an overseas post, you will learn about the culture, business customs, and lifestyle information of your destination country. We will support you in smoothly starting your overseas business operations.
Overseas Trainee Program
Through training at overseas locations and participation in international exhibitions and academic conferences, employees will develop a global perspective. This program aims to cultivate future candidates for overseas assignments.
Management training
This program is designed for manager candidates and provides systematic training in essential management skills, including organizational management, strategic planning, and talent development.
05. Multiple-choice program
We have systems in place to support each employee's desire to continue learning.
Qualification acquisition support
The company will subsidize the costs of obtaining qualifications related to your work. This includes examination fees, textbook fees, and course fees.
Distance learning support
The company will partially subsidize the cost of distance learning courses. This includes courses in a wide range of fields, such as business skills, languages, and technology.
Support for participation in external seminars
We support participation in external professional training and seminars. You can participate in training programs in a wide range of fields, including technical and business skills.

In the final week, I reviewed the training with my colleagues, and it was a valuable experience to share the direction we are each aiming for.
