How many interview rounds are there?

There are a total of two interviews: a first interview and a second interview.
*Depending on the situation, we may need to discuss it with you.

What format will the interview take?

The first interview will be conducted online (via Google Meet), and the second interview will be conducted in person at the workplace.

What kind of questions will I be asked in the interview?

We will ask about your past experience, reasons for changing jobs, motivations for applying, and career vision. We will also carefully review your specialized skills and practical experience.

When will I be notified of the selection results?

We will contact you with the results of each selection step within approximately one week.

Can I withdraw my application?

Yes. You can decline the offer before submitting your acceptance letter, so please contact your agent.

Will travel expenses be reimbursed for the selection process?

If you are coming from a distant location, transportation and accommodation expenses may be reimbursed depending on the circumstances. Please contact your assigned agent for details.

Are there any aptitude tests?

You will take the test (SPI, web-based testing) after passing the first interview.

Will my preferred work location be taken into consideration?

Generally, your work location will not change from the position you applied for, but since this is a generalist position, there is a possibility of transfers or relocations.

Is relocation required?

As this is a generalist position, there is a possibility of relocation.

Are there opportunities for overseas assignments?

Depending on the job role, there is a possibility of being assigned to an overseas branch.

Is it possible to change my job role after joining the company?

Generally, you will be working in the position you applied for, but there is a possibility of being transferred through our job rotation system.

Regarding treatment and conditions

How is my salary determined?

Your salary will be determined based on your past experience and skills, according to our company regulations.

How much is the bonus?

Bonuses are paid twice a year (June and December). The amount paid will reflect the performance evaluation results for the period prior to the bonus payment.

Are there any raises?

There is an annual salary increase (in April). The amount of the increase will be determined based on the performance evaluation.

Is there a retirement allowance system?

Yes. We offer lump-sum retirement payments, defined benefit corporate pension plans, defined contribution pension plans, or prepaid retirement benefits.

Do you offer company housing or housing allowances?

Yes. We offer a company-leased housing system, or a housing allowance if you do not use company-leased housing. There are conditions for each, so please contact our recruitment department for details.

Can the start date be adjusted?

We would like you to join our company as soon as possible, but we understand that you may have to hand over your responsibilities at your current job, so please discuss this with us during the interview or when you accept the job offer.

Do you have a flexible work schedule?

Can I take parental leave?

Is there any training provided after joining the company?

After joining the company, you will become familiar with your work through on-the-job training (OJT) in your assigned department. In addition, during your first year, you will have the opportunity to participate in a three-day training program held twice a year for mid-career hires, where you will learn about Archem 's business through lectures from executives of each business unit and tours of the development and manufacturing sites.

Is there any support for obtaining qualifications?

Yes. We have a system in place where the company subsidizes the costs of obtaining qualifications related to your work. This includes examination fees, study materials, and course fees.
