Systems that support flexible working arrangements

We have systems in place that allow for flexible working arrangements depending on the situation.

Telework system

Teleworking is available company-wide.

Flexible working hours

Except for certain periods (core time), you can adjust your start and end times.

Discretionary work system

This system allows employees to manage their working hours at their own discretion within the prescribed working hours.

Comprehensive vacation system

We have a system in place that allows employees to take time off with peace of mind to accommodate life events.

paid holiday

Granted from the time of joining the company, up to a maximum of 20 days per year (increasing with years of service). The utilization rate is 75.7% (FY2025). It is also possible to take leave in half-day or hourly increments.

Birth leave / Childcare leave

Employees can take 5 days of paternity leave when their spouse gives birth. Furthermore, Archem has a high rate of male employees taking paternity leave.

Family support leave

You can take 10 days of leave per year for family purposes, such as attending your children's school events or accompanying family members to medical appointments.

Caregiving leave

You can take 10 days of leave per year if you need to care for a family member. A reduced working hours system for caregiving is also available.

Bereavement leave

You can take 6 days of special leave for marriage, and 1 to 7 days for bereavement.

Commuting allowance

We will reimburse your commuting expenses.

Company-leased housing/housing allowance

You can use company-leased housing for up to five years when you join the company, are transferred, or experience life events. Even if you do not use company-leased housing, you will still receive a housing allowance. (Certain conditions apply to both.)

Retirement allowance system

The amount of payment will be determined based on factors such as years of service and reason for leaving the company.

We offer lump-sum retirement payments, defined benefit corporate pension plans, and defined contribution pension plans.
