Archem Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") will appropriately manage and protect the personal information of applicants (hereinafter referred to as "candidates") who apply for the Company's recruitment activities (including internships, open company programs, career recruitment, and new graduate recruitment) in accordance with the following provisions.
1. Acquisition of personal information
In our recruitment activities, we may obtain the following information about candidates (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Candidate Information"):
- Basic information: Name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth, gender
- Career Information: Educational background, work experience, qualifications, and other information listed in your resume/CV.
- Activity Information: Internship and event participation history, selection evaluation, and survey responses.
- Communication information: Log information (cookies, etc.) when you access this site.
- Sensitive personal information: Information that falls under the category of sensitive personal information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 3 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
When acquiring sensitive personal information, our company will obtain the candidate's prior consent. However, this does not apply in cases based on laws and regulations or other cases specified in Article 20, Paragraph 2 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
2. Management of personal information
Our company will manage the candidate information we acquire appropriately under the supervision of the chief officer, in compliance with laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal information, as well as ordinances, norms, and guidelines concerning the protection of personal information established by administrative agencies, etc., to prevent leakage, loss, alteration, improper disclosure, misuse, or unauthorized access.
3.Purpose of use
Our company will use the candidate information we obtain only within the scope of the following purposes, and will not use it for any other purpose without the candidate's consent.
- Providing information and guidance to candidates: Guidance regarding internships, open company events, company information sessions, and the selection process.
- Selection management: determining pass/fail status, scheduling interviews, and verifying applicants' identities.
- Recruitment Analysis: Creating statistical data (in a way that does not identify individuals) for future recruitment planning and website improvement.
- Onboarding preparation: Guiding prospective employees through the onboarding process and managing their employment.
4. Provision to third parties
We will not provide candidate information obtained to third parties except in the following cases:
- If the candidate has given their consent
- When required by law
- When outsourcing to a business partner to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use (in this case, the business partner will be appropriately supervised).
5. Safety Management Measures
Our company will take appropriate information security measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of candidate information we acquire.
6. Inquiry, correction, and deletion of personal data held by the company
If a candidate wishes to inquire about, correct, or delete their own candidate information, please contact the inquiry desk listed in section 7 below. We will respond promptly in accordance with our prescribed procedures. In order to prevent unauthorized acquisition or alteration of personal information by third parties, we may ask you to verify that the request is from the candidate themselves.
