Please tell me your reasons for joining the company.
After graduating from graduate school, I gained broad experience in the corporate department at the company I joined as a new graduate, and I found particular fulfillment in designing operations for "human resources." Later, through a fortunate connection, I gained experience in front-office work at a PR consulting firm. While I found fulfillment and growth in the demanding nature of dealing with clients on the front lines, I couldn't abandon my desire to work in human resources, and I was determined to make this my last job change when I came across Archem. At the time, it had been less than a year since Arcem was spun off from Bridgestone. The human resources team had just been established, but I was strongly drawn to the mission of "doing something only I can do," and I decided to join the company.

Could you please describe your current job responsibilities?
Since joining the company, I have been part of the "Human Resources Strategy Promotion Department," where I have been involved with human resources from all angles, encompassing the entire employee lifecycle from the moment they join the company. Starting this April, I have become a department manager, and I am taking on various new challenges while collaborating with global offices and other departments from a higher perspective.
What do you find rewarding about your work?
Perhaps it's obvious given the nature of the job, but in HR work, "people" are always involved no matter what you do. When I feel that I have truly understood each and every one of them, connected with them on an emotional level, and maximized the potential of the organization called Archem, that is when I feel the greatest sense of purpose and fulfillment as an HR professional.

Are there any memorable experiences you've had in your work?
After joining the company, I started by designing the recruitment process as part of building the organizational foundation. Now, that system functions as a matter of course, and we are moving to a new stage based on that foundation. It is my greatest joy to feel that what I built through countless struggles has become the foundation of the organization, and that the organization is growing as I pass the baton to the next generation.
What do you value most in your work?
To reiterate, I believe that organizations are made up of "people." The "company" is a box, and the individuals who thrive within it are all unique "individuals" with diverse personalities. My goal is for each of these individuals to fully utilize their abilities within the field of Archem, and for the company and its employees to continue growing in a win-win relationship. This is the kind of organization I strive for.

Please tell me about the appeal of Archem.
Currently, Archem is a wonderfully harmonious blend of employees who transferred from Bridgestone and those who joined Archem through their careers. What they all have in common, I believe, is a mindset of "seeing change as an opportunity to challenge ourselves and continuously evolving flexibly." It is because we have such employees that we are able to overcome any difficulty with sincerity and unwavering dedication, creating a positive cycle.
Please tell me about your future career vision.
As Archem approaches its fourth anniversary, I feel that we are at a crucial stage in defining the identity of Archem as a company. In my role in human resources, I bear the responsibility of making extremely important decisions that will determine the future of the company, such as what kind of colleagues we invite into the field and how we will grow together. I will always keep my sights high and aim for a future where "everyone knows the company Archem."
