Joined the company in 2022
Please tell me about your previous work experience.
I joined the company in 2022 as a mid-career hire and was assigned to the Technical Department at the Totsuka Plant. Later, I transferred to the Technical Department at the North Kanto Plant, where I am currently involved in work related to improving factory productivity and equipment upgrades.

Please tell me about your current responsibilities.
I am responsible for designing the processes for launching new products within the factory, as well as improving existing production lines. Creating a new product isn't the end goal; the crucial part is how to efficiently and stably transition from there to production. Therefore, I build production flows from scratch and continuously improve existing products to enhance productivity and optimize quality. While it's a continuous process of trial and error, I find immense satisfaction in seeing products take shape through the processes I designed.
Are there any memorable experiences from your work so far?
When I first joined the company, I was assigned to the Totsuka Plant, where I was mainly in charge of production technology for tiny products that become internal parts for machinery. Later, I transferred to the North Kanto Plant, where I became involved with products that are familiar to general consumers, such as mattresses and kitchen sponges. I still remember how the urethane I worked with is used in various aspects of daily life and supports people's lives.

What are the attractive aspects of Archem Business Japan?
Our company's appeal lies in the fact that we handle the entire process from raw material manufacturing to product processing and shipping for projects secured by our sales team. Because many of the processes are interconnected within the company, you can concretely visualize how your work impacts the preceding and succeeding processes, and what the final product will look like when it reaches the customer. I believe that being able to work while understanding the overall flow allows you to take responsibility and pride in your work and truly experience the joy of manufacturing.
