Please tell me about your previous work experience.
I joined Bridgestone Chemical Products West Japan Co., Ltd. in 2006 as a mid-career hire and was assigned to the Human Resources and Labor Relations Department. After gaining experience in human resources and labor relations, I transferred to the Sales Division in 2013 and have been in charge of sales internal affairs.

Please tell me about your current responsibilities.
As the point of contact for our customers in the Kyushu region, I am responsible for a series of tasks, from receiving orders and arranging production with the factory to managing sales. In addition to accurately conveying necessary information to the factory after receiving orders from customers, I strive to act as a liaison between customers and the factory, responding flexibly and quickly when unexpected delivery date adjustments occur. I also value daily communication with members of my department and people at the factory, and I work to ensure that all parties involved can work together smoothly.
Are there any memorable experiences from your work so far?
I remember a particularly memorable experience when a sudden additional order made it extremely difficult to meet a customer's requested delivery date. To avoid halting the customer's production line, I asked for cooperation from sales and factory personnel, rearranging the production plan, and also consulted with the customer about prioritizing existing orders. Thanks to the efforts of many people, we were ultimately able to deliver on time, and the customer expressed their gratitude. It was an unforgettable experience of overcoming difficulties through collaboration with those around me.

What's the atmosphere and interpersonal relationships like at your workplace?
The Kurume office is a small branch, but it has members from various departments, including human resources, accounting, and sales. Although our work is different, we have a friendly atmosphere and it's a comfortable workplace where it's easy to ask questions and get advice.
What do you feel are the essential or important elements required for your current job?
In sales operations, in addition to responding quickly to customers, the ability to oversee the entire situation while coordinating with factory personnel is essential. I believe that the ability to act flexibly according to the situation and proactively provide support is important.

What are the attractive aspects of Archem Business Japan?
I believe one of the company's greatest strengths is the ease with which it allows for work-life balance. I myself have experienced four maternity leaves and subsequent returns to work, and I currently work reduced hours, balancing family and work. When I need to take time off unexpectedly or when I want to take planned leave, my colleagues naturally provide support, allowing me to continue working with peace of mind. I think having an environment where you can continue working without difficulty even as your life stage changes is a major attraction of our company.
